Joust!

Have you ever been playing your favorite roleplaying game and thought, "Wow, I wish I had rules for jousting?" No? Just me? Well I wrote some rules anyway! 

Joust! is an interactive ruleset designed to be compatible with 5E and any other RPGs that use a 20 sided die. I am a teacher by trade and developed these rules while being the mentor for the RPG club at my high school. It has been a highlight of my career to be the GM for my students, and they were integral in bringing these rules to life! 

Inside the PDF you will find over 50 pages of rules, images and stories to add to your rpg setting!  First is a one-page basic ruleset to add jousting to your games right away. These rules can be learned and implemented within minutes and provide for dynamic and quick gameplay. Also included are advanced rules to add more "crunch" to your jousts as well as rules for setting up full jousting tournaments. This includes pumping up the crowd to gain points to spend on upgrades, weather tables, temporary hit points, injury tables, weapons, armor and much more!

Because I can't stop myself, I also added basic and advanced rules for jousting in the modern era. This includes motorcycles, four-wheelers and the same amount of advanced rules as in the fantasy jousting setting. Unique to the modern setting though are custom arenas and tracks to joust in as well as an injury table for the bikes. 

Concerned that not everyone in your group will want to get on a horse/bike and joust? Don't worry, there are rules for teammates and how they can give boosts to the jouster or try and sabotage their opponents. 

Still not enough? Well I included a custom one-shot adventure to help show how jousting can be added to a campaign. Players will uncover the secret identity of the mystery jouster and then take part in the tournament themselves.
